RULES & INFORMATION
LOCKING IN TEAM CHANGES
QUALI TIMER COUNTDOWN

In the header of every page of this F1 league, you will see a countdown timer telling you how long until the next race's qualifying session starts.

If you want to make any changes to your team, you must have your team choices locked in before this timer expires or you will miss out on the chance to update your team!

If you don't want to make any changes to your team, you don't need to lock in, your previously chosen team will still be your valid team choices.
BUDGET
£100 MILLION

At the start of the season you will have £100M to spend on your team, after each race you will gain an additional £2M allowing you to improve your team as the season progresses.

The value of drivers and constructors will increase or decrease slightly during the season based on how each driver and constructor performs from race to race.

If value changes takes your locked in team over budget, this is ok. Your team will still be valid. But when making changes to your team, you will need to ensure you are within budget in order to lock in.
TEAM CHANGES
UP TO TWO CHANGES BETWEEN RACES

Between each race weekend you will be able to make up to 2 changes to your team.

Although, before the first race of the season you can continue to make unlimited changes.
PLAYING A JOKER
TWICE PER SEASON

After the first race of the season you will have the option to play a joker. The joker allows you to make 6 changes to your team, so you can recover if you have take a wrong turn in your team selections. But be aware, you can only play a joker twice throughout the season.

One thing to note, if you play a joker but don't use them (or have any changes remaining) your number of changes will reset back to 2 after the next race.
WHERE DOES THE DATA COME FROM?
FORMULA1.COM

All data used in the scoring of this league will come from the positions as classified for each session on the formula1.com website.

For clarity, pole position points will be awarded to the driver that is classified fastest in qualifying. In the event that the driver on pole starts further down the grid due to penalties being applied, they will still be awarded the pole position points for putting in the fastest time of the qualifying session.
